Define beauty

Hi guys,

Lets talk about beauty.. what do you define as pretty/cute/hot/etc?
What is it about a person that makes him or her absolutely breath-taking? Is is her smile? Is it his hair? Is is her outfit? What needs to be done to become the belle of the ball? Or the prince from a fairytale?

Most people will tell you they judge others on what's inside; it's the heart that matters. Needless to say reality is hard-to-handle.. & although many will deny it.. 80% of how we perceive others are from their covers. Most of us are shallow and are not able to look beyond the mascara and eyeliner. Thus it becomes natural for the handsome guy to get the job promotion or the pretty girl to be helped first in line. But then what happens to the people that get left behind? I'll tell you this.. they will be overlooked and overseen.. always second-best standing right next to that "hottie" over there. Believe me, I've been there and done that..

I, myself, am now guilty of covering myself up in make-up and pretty clothes.. for what? To impress others? To gain approval? Friendship? A helping hand? I don't know.. I guess the question you need to ask to yourself is: How do you think about yourself? If you strip al the unnecessarities away.. do you like the way you are? Do you see your own true colours shining trough? Do you feel beautiful? Do you feel love?

Happy Fathers Day

Today is fathers day ! A day for these hardworking men to be pampered and idunno to be taken care of. xD Ghaha SOOO todayy my mom had to work, my big sister was busy doing hw and my little sister was off doing some dance-activities in AMC.. So, I decided to entertain my dad & bring him to the movies. 40 minutes later, the three of us [Thang also joined=D ] were singing to Beyonce's latest songs and sweating away in the hot car omyy. Finally when got there we were late.>_< Omyy so I gave Thang my purse so that he could run and buy tickets for star trek. In the meantime my dad and I went to Febo to eat a nice lunch whahaha.. Nahh jokeyy just a quick snack.

Al by al it turned out to be a really fun day =).

10 things I don't like

1. Ants; Don't you just get freaky when you see ants crawling everywhere in the garden? For such tiny creatures they sure can move pretty damn fast! Omyy.. I never really liked ants.. but the feeling got even worse last month. It so happened that we had a few boxes of little m&m's near the front porche. I picked up one box to be able to enjoy those delicous treats I had been creaving for. But.. how was I suppose to know that the ants had also discovered these secret treasures?! Unaware I began eating the m&m's while doing some hw on the computer.. it was the worse day of my life T_T

2. Waking up sleepy; I know, I know.. This is just sooo cliche! Everyone hates waking up early.. but actually I don't mind it at all! Nahh don't get me wrong.. ofcourse I would prefer to sleep out late.. But then it would be a total waste of the day.. thus for me the only annoying thing about waking up is.. when I'm still feeling sleepy.. Don't know if this makes sense=p.. If you don't understand me, then tuff luck for you my friend xD

3. Brushing my teeth; Some people brush their teeth after every meal, some people do it twice a day, some people do it fast, some people do it slowly.. WELLL I JUST DONT LIKE IT! I manage to do it twice a day.. but yuck it is just so annoying >_<.

4. Pollution; please trow your carbage in the bin! It's such a turn of for me when guys & girls just spitt their chewing gum out on the streets.. It's so nasty, where are you manners?

5. Tiny spiders; This goes very well with the first point I made about ants. Freaky little monster-thingies.. Yes I'm a girl.. I'm afraid of small insectsT_T

6. Missing pair of shoes; I love LOVE shoes!! And when a pair of shoes have gone missing.. I will search and search and search and search untill I find them again. Most of the time I find the missing pair in the back of the garage or on the feet of my little sister..

7. Ipod dies; Well yeah. My favorite thing to do when I'm cityhopping aka traveling is to listen to my music. But when the battery dies.. what am I suppose to do? Sometimes I just sit still and begin to daydream.. but that is not so convenient for me cause then I tend to not pay attention to the surroundings anymore. One time I ended up at a final destination far far away from home..

8. Arriving late; Although I do it often.. I know it's not nice for people to wait for you. Sorry=(.

9. Internet crashes; Im sure everyone has been in the situation when you had to do something important like business arrangements or homework online. And then when you are finally ready, internet freezes/crashes and gone is your work!

10. Stress; This is something I can't cope well with. Except for when Im working at wok2go.. then I become superwomann xD.

BBQ smell

It's now 9.17am.. I just woke up ready for the day.. but there was something weird about this fresh day. It smelled weird.. ?

..it smelled like roasted marshmellows & hamburgers O_o.. and and OH NOOOOO then I rememberd that the neighbours were having their now almost daily bbqparty last night as well as every previous night of the week. + There is this tiny hole in my window which lets all the air through.. niceeeeee >_<. Ghahahaha demnn xD.

Fun working day

Today was a very fun but tiring day for us. Thang & me had to leave home around 7am to go to ANTWERPENNN :D:D.. Unfortunately it was no shoppingday for us. We had to do a photoshoot for a new upcoming brand. It sounds fun, but in reality shoots are very long and boring as waitingtime takes up most of the day. Luckily for me.. the other models were fun to hang around with & Thang never failed to entertain me. Ghaha he's so funny xD.

Last night

Yesterday, me and my friends went to Ila. It's a partyplace specially aimed at asian people. Well, I was looking forward to going there since the last time I went out was pretty long ago.

Okay so the morning started perfectly.. spend some time with my bf.. just relaxing and stuff. Unfortunately in the afternoon when I got home everything changed.. some hectic stuff happened and gone was happy-mood. >_< To top things of.. my knee was still hurting like crazy! Still have to go to the docter for that. But I'm afraid to go.. so I'm actually delaying the process of making an appointment..

Finally when nighttime came my friends and I agreed to meet @ Schiphol at around 11pm. When I got there.. half of the people were all confused cause some thought we were going to meet at 10pm.. & anders thought we were meeting at 11.30pm. So finally, some decided to go ahead.. and some decided to stay back and wait for the latecomers. When we got there.. we again had to wait for a friend of a friend >_<. Then out of nowhere Thang appeared=D. He actually had to work late so he was not going to come.. but he wanted to surprise me.. So yayaa ghaha.

Rest of the night.. was okay.. It was really crowded, but we managed to have fun.. untill I lost my mobilephone T___T I guess it fell out of my pocket since Thang and me were able to trace back the battery and the backcase of the phone.. but my actuall phone was lost/gone/abused and kicked-on..

Daddy's money

Don't you just hate it when all the twelve and thirteen year olds act so bold and arrogant.. just because they can be seen sporting the newest nikes or the hipest addidaswear. Okay let me just clarify this; there is nothing wrong with rocking your most expensive, exclusive, sexy, hip whatever wear.. as long as you don't bring me that attitude. Because NO.. nobody is jealous of your stuff that mr. rich daddy bought for you. Ofcourse it's the easy life everybody enjoys.. but come on do you really need a tee worth $200? Or a skirt worth $99? Sure you can buy it.. if you save up for it with your own money..

Holiday almost coming up =D

Still four more weeks to go.. and then it's HOLIDAY!!
